About Innovation and start-up

An effort has been made to map the JEMTEC Innovation and Startup Policy with th e NISP for students and faculty members. This policy is aimed to bring clarity in all the stakeholder regarding the activities and the pathways for all stakeholders in actively engaging in innovations and start-up activities.

This document also provides guidelines for nurturing innovations and a complete step-by-step pipeline and pathways for the innovators starting from gaining necessary skillsets, knowledge, hands-on experience, developmentprograms(MDPs, FDPs, BDPs) and students/faculty exchange programs including special type of leave for faculties.

This policy also focuses on the use of resources, creating/generating funds, sharing of revenue, product ownership, IP and entrepreneurship issue of Entrepreneurial Impact Assessment and the annual felicitation day to motivate the students to opt entrepreneurship as a carrier option and to felicitate their proud parents.
